| Problem: | Error when exporting large report to Excel. |
| Fix: | By default in Actuate, there is a set page limit to 50 to convert into Excel format. For any report more than 50 pages, when trying to convert to excel it will display a warning message: Warning: Excel converter page limit of 50 exceeded. Log into the System Administrator, Click on “Servers”, go to the properties for the server, and click on the View Service tab. On this page, change the maximum number of pages to be converted to Excel. |
| Fix: | STEPS TO CHANGE MAX EXCEL PAGES SETTING
1. Open Actuate Management Console, select System Administration and click Log In.
2. Click on Severs, and then go to properties for the server
3. Select the View Service tab, and then change the Max Excel Pages to the expected value.
4. After Saving, you MUST do the following for this changes to take effect: – Stop and Restart the Actuate services Actuate HTTP Service 8 and Actuate Process Management Daemon 8 – Stop and Restart Primavera. |
| Fix: | WORKAROUND: If in Actuate Management Console, Max Excel Page is set to 50, and the file to download has 100 pages: 1. Download the first 50 2. Select the radio button, and Set Pages to 50-100 in the Page Range tab 3. Copy and paste the contents of the two files together inside Excel. |
