Problem: | Timesheets are losing hours after user selects the submit button. |
Cause: | This issue mostly appears with clients using Windows XP workstations. When there is a network problem that causes the client to lose network connectivity, the workstation does not recognize that it’s no longer connected to the network. The workstation continues to let the users enter hours in Timesheets without warning the user that the connection is lost. |
Fix: |
To reduce the occurrence of this problem, follow the steps below: From the Group Server:
This WatchDog setting sends a message to the client based on the time interval set to see if it’s still connected. When the connection is lost, the client will get a message that the connection is lost and to close and reopen Timesheets and enter their time again. |
