prim34731:Project Management freezes when importing a P3 project.

Workaround 1: (for those with access to P3)

1. Open the Concentric/P3 project in P3.
    


2. Enable the Custom Data Item (CDI) columns in P3.
    


3. Either:

• Locate / Remove the ” (quote) symbol that starts any of the CDI values, who is unmatched with a closing ” (quote).
   
  (OR)
   


• Delete all CDI values.

Workaround 2: (for those with access to SureTrak)

NOTE: The following method will remove all CDI’s from the original project.  As a result, they will not be available once imported into Project Management.

1. Open the Concentric/P3 project in SureTrak.
    


2. Click: File, Save As
   Change the ‘Type’ to: SureTrak
   Give the project copy a unique name.
    


3. Click: File, Save As
   Change the ‘Type’ to: Concentric/P3
   Give the project copy a unique 4-character name.
    


4. Close SureTrak.
    


5. Re-attempt the import into Project Management
